Our warranty covers the TRIBOS product only when applied by our own trained personnel on a surface that is acceptable to us and is maintained in accordance with our recommendation will not noticeably lose gloss or reflectivity during the course of 12 months from the date of application or annual renewal of the application treatment.
This warranty is given on the basis that the yacht is cleaned regularly in accordance with our recommendations.
If this product fails to perform, our warranty shall be limited to preparing and re-coating the effected area to correct the condition. The correction shall be made as soon as is practicable at the facility at which the original application was provided unless otherwise agreed by the customer and Hielaman Ltd. All costs of Tribos product, labour, and Application Team travel expense shall be for the account of HL.
Care of Your Treated Yacht
To obtain the best appearance of the yacht surface, clean at regular maintenance intervals or when surfaces are visually dirty, the following techniques may be used.
The use of corrosive fluids and aggressive cleaning detergents and/or the use of bristle brushes or abrasive cleaning pads will render the warranty null and void. HL will, at the customer’s request and submittal of a sample, test a sample of any fluid preferred to TRIBOS shampoo for compatibility with the Treatment System.
